ACID is a transactional model typically employed by Relational Databases and leveraged by Transactional Workloads and Analytical Workloads

ACID Stands for:

  • Atomic
  • Consistent
  • Isolated
  • Durable

ACID is in contrast to BASE Data Consistency Model
